Full Stack Developer (Java / Angular)
About the Role
DMVTEK is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to support a federal client in Ashburn, Virginia. This full-time role is ideal for professionals with strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and AWS who enjoy working across both legacy and modernized systems.
The position is hybrid, requiring onsite presence at the client location one (1) day per week. The selected candidate will work as part of an agile product team, contributing throughout the full software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot
- Develop responsive front-end components using Angular
- Work across the full SDLC including planning, development, testing, and release
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
- Ensure performance, scalability, and maintainability of applications
- Provide guidance and support to junior developers as needed
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen with ability to pass a federal background investigation
- 7+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Angular
- Experience with AWS or cloud-based platforms
- Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MySQL)
- Ability to work onsite in Ashburn, VA at least one day per week
Preferred Qualifications
- Active security clearance or Public Trust
- Experience supporting federal or government clients
- AWS or Java certifications
- Experience with CI/CD or DevOps tools

Compensation
Salary range: $140,000 – $150,000 per year
